Stabbing Incident Leads to Arrest in Steele

A Steele man was arrested over the weekend on several charges, including first degree assault in connecting to a stabbing incident that happened on North First Street. According to Police Chief Billy Joe Stanfield, 44 year old Curtis Agee is held in the PCJC with no bond.

The victim, whose name was not released, was taken to Great River Medical Center in Blytheville after the Saturday incident and later airlifted another hospital.
