One person was seriously hurt yesterday afternoon in a two vehicle accident on Highway 142 just east of Doniphan. According to Troop E, that accident happened just after 4 p.m. when 19 year old James Martin of Doniphan attempted to pass a car in his pickup. Troopers say the car was pulling into a driveway and the front of the pickup struck the side of the car.
The driver of the car, 65 year old Patricia Moman, also of Doniphan, was taken to a Poplar Bluff hospital.
