A Piggott man was hurt in a two vehicle traffic accident on MO 53 just north of Campbell yesterday evening. According to the MSHP, the accident happened when a pickup driven by 20 year old Michael Salyards struck the rear of a car driven by 47 year old Kimberly Huber of Campbell.
Salyards was taken to a Poplar Bluff hospital; he was also arrested for DWI and other traffic charges.
Huber was not hurt.
The accident happened at 6:15 p.m.
