A traffic accident yesterday afternoon at US 412 and MO 84 just west of Hayti Heights left a Caruthersville man hurt. According to the MSHP, the accident happened when 54 year old David Horner failed to yield his pickup, striking a SUV, driven by 60 year old Teresa Hayes of Portageville. That vehicle then hit a stop sign.
Horner was taken to Pemiscot Memorial Hospital with minor injuries.
