A preliminary hearing for a murder suspect is set for later this month in Pemiscot County. Akevian Ricks of Caruthersville is accused of killing 22 year old Joshua Holloway last month.
Holloway was found shot at 932 Adams in Caruthersville on March 19. He died at a Memphis hospital.
Yesterday, Judge William Carter set a preliminary hearing for April 19. Ricks is held without bond in the PCJC.
