City Light Gas & Water is changing customers’ gas meters — it’s a project that got underway several months ago. CLGW Gas Department Supervisor George Anderson said they’ve had to work on some issues as this project got underway. One of them is copper piping in homes, which he said natural gas can corrode.
When CLGW changes your gas meter, they will have to go into your home for an inspection and also get your pilot light back on.
