As reported earlier this week, the Hayti Indians have cancelled their football game with the Farmington Knights scheduled to be played at Hayti this Friday. Hayti Superintendent issued the following statement regarding the game being cancelled. “In working closely with Pemiscot County Health Department we were informed that through close contact tracing, NOT POSITIVE CASES, we will have to cancel this week’s home football game against Farmington. We want to assure our community that this is due to close contact and NOT positive cases. Once we received the close contact list those students were quarantined for safety precautions. Once the quarantine is lifted we will resume activities as normal. As always it’s a great day to be a Hayti Indian!” – Jackie Johnson Superintendent.
