Eight people were arrested in Caruthersville yesterday for violating the city’s curfew. According to the Caruthersville Police department, six were arrested, issued citations and released pending their court date. Two others were booked into the Pemiscot County Justice Center for violating the curfew and for street racing/imprudent driving. They were identified as 24 year old Jeremy Grant and 22 year old Shaunquell Grant.
The other six charged with violating the curfew were: 21 year old Cortavia Hunt, 22 year old Nikita Hunt, 20 year old Gladys Johnson, 23 year old Sharkira Johnson, 25 year old Victory Timothy, and 19 year old Danaje Webster.
The Caruthersville curfew is from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. daily.
