A Dunklin County jury Friday convicted a Malden man of felony attempted burglary.
According to a news release from Prosecuting Attorney Nicholas Jain, 36 year old Xavier Ray attempted to get away from a bail bond company attempting to apprehend him, tried to break into a Malden home, and was prevented from doing so by the home owner.
Jain says Ray now faces up to 15 years in the Missouri Department of Corrections. Judge Robert Mayer sent sentencing for March 11.
