The groundbreaking for the new Hayti Municipal facility was held July 2, 2018, on the future site located at 300 East Broadway in Hayti, Missouri within the downtown square area. Many elected officials, city staff, residents and those interested were on site for the ceremonial event. Mayor Lisa Green acknowledged City Clerk Karla Law, Members of the City Council, the team at USDA Rural Development and many others that aided in the process of acquiring the funding of the new Municipal Facility. She also offered special recognition to the city staff residents of Hayti and thanked the design/construction team that includes DILLE TRAXEL Architecture, Horner Shifrin Engineering, and Sides Construction.

DILLE TRAXEL Architecture designed the new Municipal Facility to accommodate 12,000 square feet, which includes a secure common entry lobby/corridor that will define and partition the individual City Hall and Police Department services. The City Hall area includes administration offices and municipal courtroom and the Police Department includes administration, evidence room and sallyport. An anticipated occupancy date of July 2019 was announced.

The team at DILLE TRAXEL Architecture is proud to be part of this project for the City of Hayti!
