The City of Gosnell, AR., to celebrate turning 50

GOSNELL, AR.- The city of Gosnell will be celebrating its 50th anniversary Saturday, April 21.

The celebration will feature a parade and after the parade, the city will be holding a dedication to its founding fathers. Each will be honored with a key to the city. Those being honored include the late Mayor Andy Bevill, City Attorney Richard Reid, former Chief of Police John Parish and former city councilman James Southard.

The event will also host a baking contest; Carnival rides for kids along with a petting zoo. At 2 p.m. a 3K Color Run will take place, later in the evening at 6:00 p.m., followed by a concert.
