What was thought to be the beginning of construction on Route “O” replacing the Snipe Slough Bridge was actually some maintenance work on Route “O” patching some potholes.
MoDot engineer Tammy Hefner, who is in charge of the Bridge Project said Tuesday’s barricades were in place for one day while the patching was done.
Work is continuning on the Honey Cypress Ditch between Kennett and Senath and when that work is completed, then MoDot will move to the Snipe Slough Bridge and replace that bridge.
