Multi-agency bust in Blytheville, leads to 10 arrest

BLYTHEVILLE, AR., – A large bust called “Operation Street Sweeper” was carried out in the last few days in Blytheville, and was a combined effort of the Second Judicial Drug Task Force, Blytheville Police, Mississippi County Sheriff’s Department, Osceola Police, Arkansas State Police and The National Guard Air Unit, that provided helicopter coverage of the situation and vital help from the community by helping authorities identify seven specific targeted individuals.



The main focus on the operation was drugs and firearms, five teams made up of the different agencies worked three separate locations simultaneously.  One on Leawood, another on Clark Street and a third on Walls Street.

Authorities had been working on “Operation Street Sweeper” for four months.

According to a press release, the investigation resulted in the arrests of ten individuals were Katrina Kuykendall, 30, Kenyunta Aldridge, 38, Carlos Wells, 44, Solomon Malone, 24, Winsley Henry III, 42,  Artrille Coleman, 39, Tyree Johnson, 19, Africa Wells, 44, JP Smith III, 36, and Deanna Perry, 29, and the seizure of nine firearms, along with several quantities of marijuana, crystal methamphetamine, cocaine, crack cocaine, and ecstasy.

All those arrested will appear before Blytheville District Judge Shannon Langston on Tuesday, January 16, 2018.
