On Tuesday morning at 8:00am, the MSHP responded to a fatal accident involving two vehicles in Stoddard County, two miles east of Dexter on US 60. The crash occurred as an eastbound 2015 Cadillac ATS, driven by a 52 year female from Dexter, struck the rear of a 2013 Volvo VHD Dump Truck, driven by a 38 year old male from Dexter. The driver of the Cadillac was transported by ambulance to Mercy Stoddard in Dexter, where she was later pronounced at 9:02am.
