A search warrant executed in the 900 block of Vaughn Drive led to multiple charges for a local suspect after law enforcement uncovered drugs, ammunition, and cash on September 25, 2026.
The operation was conducted by the West Tennessee Drug Task Force with assistance from the Dyer County Sheriff’s Office. Upon officers’ arrival, the suspect fled the residence. Inside, agents recovered roughly one pound of marijuana, a loaded AR-15 magazine, drug paraphernalia, and a significant amount of cash. Authorities seized the evidence, currency, and the suspect’s black Chevrolet Camaro.
The suspect later surrendered to law enforcement and was charged with possession of a controlled substance with intent to distribute, possession of drug paraphernalia, unlawful possession of ammunition by a convicted felon, and resisting arrest.
District Attorney General Danny Goodman will handle the prosecution. All defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
