Fatal Accident in Stoddard County

The Missouri State Highway Patrol responded to a fatal accident on Sunday, August 2nd, in Stoddard County.

The crash occurred at 12:00pm, on MO-25, four miles north of Bloomfield, as a 2003 Harley Davidson, operated by a 72 year old male from Aquillia, MO, lost control and slid on the roadway, ejecting the driver. The driver was then struck by a 2019 GMC Acadia, driven by a 36 year old female from Bloomfield. A 1999 Harley Davidson, driven by a 23 year old male from Sturdivant, MO, was hit by debris from the accident, causing it to go into an uncontrolled slide, ejecting the driver.

The 72 year old driver of the 2003 Harley Davidson was pronounced at the scene by Stoddard County Coroner Brent Stidham at 12:46pm. This is Troop E fatality #35 for 2026.
