On Sunday afternoon at 4:05pm, the MSHP responded to an ATV accident in Pemiscot County, three miles east of Portageville on County Road 417. The crash occurred as a 2022 Cam Am Outlander, being operated by a 13 year old female juvenile, ran off the left side of the roadway, struck an embankment then struck a tree and overturned, ejecting both the driver and a 12 year old female juvenile occupant.
Both juveniles received serious injuries and were airlifted to Le Bonheur Children’s Hospital in Memphis.
