The MSHP will be out in force during the long weekend. Troopers will be participating in Operation C.A.R.E., enforcing all traffic laws, and available to assist the public.
Last year, nine people were killed and 483 injured in 1,342 traffic crashes across Missouri during the four day Thanksgiving holiday period.
TDOT is halting all lane closure activity on Tennessee interstates and state highways starting at noon today through 6 a.m. Monday. HELP truck drivers will be working, however, to assist with any incidents along the interstates.
