There’s a chance many of us will see at least some winter precipitation tonight into Wednesday morning.
According to the National Weather Service in Memphis, a winter weather advisory is in effect from 2 p.m. today until noon Wednesday for a good part of our listening area. For our counties in West Tennessee and a handful of NE Arkansas counties, including Mississippi and Craighead, an ice storm warning is in effect 6 p.m. this evening until noon Wednesday.
For the Winter Weather Advisory, mixed precipitation is expected– less than one-half inch of sleet and ice accumulations of one tenth to two tenths of an inch.
