The new football coach of the Kennett Indians is excited about the opportunity to lead a program that’s seen great success the last few years, including a semi-final appearance in the state playoffs. Coach Andrew Webster said the team is already working this summer.
Webster, who’s been the defensive coordinator for the Indians, is changing hats and will call the plays this year. He’s confident in that transition, however, as to be good at one, you need a pretty good understanding of the other.
The Indians will open up the season at home against Malden on Friday, August 27.
