At approximately 10:19 am, officers were dispatched to the Wal-Mart Supercenter in reference to a male and a female inside the store who had previously been banned from the property. Upon arrival and after subsequent investigation, officers arrested 30-year-old Adam Cash and 30-year-old Jessica Chapin both of Kennett for trespassing.
At approximately 10:36 am, officers were dispatched to the Wash House on Saint Francis Street in reference to property damage. Upon arrival, officers learned that a window and been broken out on a vehicle. At the time of this report, there are no suspects.
At approximately 12:33 pm, officers were dispatched to the South Elementary School in reference to a student who had reportedly made a threat. Upon arrival, and after subsequent investigation, the threat was deemed as being non-credible however the student was suspended. This incident was forwarded to the Dunklin County Juvenile Office.
At approximately 7:15 pm, officers were dispatched to the Wal-Mart Supercenter on First Street in reference to a shoplifter who had fled from employees. Upon arrival, the suspect was identified however not located.
At approximately 10:38 pm, officers conducted a traffic stop in the 300 block of Harrison Street with a vehicle bearing stolen license plates from Paragould, Ar., during the traffic stop, officers arrested 34-year-old Maranda Barnhill, of Kennett, 41-year-old James Lemons, of Kennett, and 34-year-old Angela Snider, of Paragould, Ar., all for Receiving Stolen Property and Possession of a Controlled Substance. Barnhill was also charged with Driving While Intoxicated. Snider was also arrested on six separate State of Missouri warrants. All three subjects were held in the Dunklin County Justice Center on a 24 hour hold pending the filing of formal charges by the Dunklin County Prosecutor’s office.
