Former Parma, police officer charged after allegedly having sexual relations with an inmate

Jannel Winters, 39, a former police officer in Parma, MO., is facing more charges today for allegedly having sexual relations with an inmate at Southeast Correctional Center while an officer at that facility.

A Judge has set a bond in this case at $25,000 cash only.

Winters is also facing a felony charge of receiving stolen property,  in that case Winters is accused of receiving unemployment insurance benefits while working at a police officer for the city of Parma.

Winters will be back in court on receiving stolen property charges on Monday, September 11, before New Madrid County Judge Joshua Underwood.
