A traffic accident yesterday afternoon on Highway 153 at Highway 114 in Stoddard County left one person hurt. According to the MSHP, the accident happened when 77 year old Marsha Pearson of Risco failed to stop her vehicle at a stop sign and struck a pickup driven by a 16 year old Dexter girl.
Pearson received minor injuries and was taken to St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau, following the 4:45 p.m. accident.
