One person was seriously hurt when his car was hit by a pickup while pulling out of a private drive on Route D south of Caruthersville. According to the MSHP, 70 year old Danny Watkins was taken by Air Evac to a Memphis hospital following the accident that happened just before 9:30 a.m. yesterday.
The driver of the pickup, 59 year old George Pierce, also of Caruthersville, was not hurt.
