The Delta Fair Parade is just days away now. The kickoff to the fair starts Tuesday at 5:30 p.m. Kennett Chamber Executive Director Melissa Combs says lineup will start at 4:30 p.m. around the high school.
The Kennett Police Department will close Washington Street from the North By-Pass to Walter Street (in front of Kennett High School) after 4:30 p.m. on the afternoon of the Parade.
You have until noon today (Friday) to enter the parade.
You can still get involved in the float competition for the parade. The prize money for floats will be awarded as follows:1st place $1000, 2nd place $600, 3rd place $450,4th place $350, and 5th place $250.
