Traffic Accidents Leave Three People Hurt Tuesday

Three one vehicle traffic accidents in the area Tuesday left people hurt.

A Florida man was hurt yesterday morning on Route AC east of Cardwell when his car ran off the road, he over-corrected, and the vehicle overturned. According to the MSHP, 35 year old Nicholas Burgess of Bellview, FL received moderate injuries and was taken to NEA in Jonesboro.

A Senath man received minor injuries yesterday afternoon when his UTV ran off the road and struck a utility pole. Troop E reports 21 year old Devon Williams was taken to Arkansas Methodist Hospital in Paragould following the 1:25 p.m. accident

A Kentucky truck driver was hurt seriously late yesterday afternoon on I-55 in Pemiscot County as he tried to avoid another vehicle, and his Freightliner ran off the road and overturned. 77 year old Stanley Evans of Cadiz, KY was taken by Survival Flight to a Memphis hospital. The accident happened at 5:30 p.m.
