The city of Kennett is mourning the passing of long time Municipal Judge and local attorney Mike Mowrer. Judge Mowrer passed away in Jonesboro Monday at the age of 75.
Judge Mowrer retired earlier this year as municipal judge. He was active in the community in a multitude of ways and served our state recently as a member of the Missouri Veterans Commission. Mowrer was a Vietnam veteran.
Funeral services are incomplete, with McDaniel Funeral Home of Kennett in charge of arrangements.
