Dunklin County’s MDC Agent says he gets hunter education questions all the time. You must complete an approved hunter education course before you can purchase a firearms deer permit. Eric Heuring said hunter education can be completed by kids as young as 11 years old.
For those 11-15, the education requirement is in two portions.
