Two people were hurt in a New Madrid County traffic accident on US 60 at Route E at 2 p.m. yesterday. Troop E reports the accident happened when 17 year old Kenlea Cochran of Morehouse failed to yield, and her car struck a vehicle driven by 71 year old Connie Hinman of Dexter.
Cochran received minor injuries and was taken to a Cape hospital. A passenger in the other car — 34 year old Ashley Hinman of St. Louis — also received minor injuries and was taken to the hospital in Sikeston.
