State lawmakers from across southeast Missouri have written letters supporting a plan for a new 25-million dollar hospital in Kennett.
Dexter State Representative Herman Morse, the House Committee on Aging’s vice chairman, is one who supports the project proposed by Mainstreet Health Ventures.
Morse says Jonesboro, Hayti, and Poplar Bluff are too far from Kennett, in an emergency.
The hearing on Mainstreet Healthventure’s certificate of need application is Sept 14 in Jefferson City.
