In Dunklin County, voters are deciding whether to fund 911 services with a 3/16th of 1% sales tax. 911 has been funded by a tax on landlines, but Kennett Fire Chief Paul Spain at a recent City Council meeting provided figures that show the problem with continuing funding that way.
