4 Arrested During Searches in Tyronza

During the afternoon of April 18, 2018, the Poinsett County Sheriff’s Office and the Tyronza Police Department executed a search warrant at 190 block of Pocahontas St. in Tyronza. During the execution of the warrant the following two individuals were arrested:

Michelle Hood, 34, of Tyronza – Two counts of Delivery of a Controlled Substance (meth), Possession of a Controlled Substance (meth), Possession of a Schedule I or II Controlled Substance (Hydrocodone), Possession of a Schedule IV Controlled Substance, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia (felony), and Unlawful Use of a Communication Device.

Shane Lowry, 40, of Marked Tree – Possession of a Controlled Substance (meth), Possession of Drug Paraphernalia (felony), Possession of a Schedule IV Controlled Substance.

In addition to serving a search warrant at 190 block of Pocahontas St, the officers and deputies also conducted a consent to search at 190 block of Pocahontas St. and a parole search at 200 block of Pocahontas.

The search at 190 block of Pocahontas St. yielded suspected methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia. The resident, Crystal Jenkins, 35, was arrested for Possession of a Controlled Substance (meth) and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia (felony).

The search at 220 block of Pocahontas St. produced misdemeanor drug paraphernalia. The resident, David Dickerson, 56, was cited and released with a court date.
