Hayti Police report March 23 – 25, 2018

On March 23, 2018, Hayti Officers conducted a traffic stop in the area of Getting Land and South Pemiscot. During the stop, Hayti Officers were able to locate Eli B. Daily, 36, of Kennett, who had 2 active warrants through Pemiscot County for failure to appear on original charges of DWI and DWS/R two times. Dailey was processed at the Hayti Police Department then transported to Pemiscot Justice Center where he is being held on a bond of $2,500.00 cash or surety.

On March 24, 2018, at approximately 5:00 p.m., Hayti Officers responded to the intersection of J Highway and MO State Highway 84 East for an accident. During the investigation, Officers discovered the driver of one of the vehicles appeared to be intoxicated. Officers arrested a 60-year-old white male of Hayti, for DWI. Randy J. Whitehead was arrested for DWI, careless and imprudent driving, failure to maintain right half of road and no seat belt. He was processed at the Hayti Police Department and released with a city court date of April 5, 2018 at 5:00 p.m.

On March 25, 2008, at approximately 11:25 p.m., Hayti Officers conducted a traffic stop on Highway 84 and Bain Cove for a traffic violation. While speaking with the driver and passengers of the vehicle officers learned a passenger in the vehicle identified as Dewon L. Pittman, 53, of Hayti, had an active warrant through Kennett Police Department for failure to appear on original charge of shoplifting.

Pittman was arrested and transported to the Hayti Police Department. Pittman bond was set at $500.00 cash or surety.
