On Wednesday, February 28th, Parker Hannifin will be hosting a Toastmasters information meeting at their facility (Parker – 1200 Ely St., North By-Pass, Kennett). Community leaders are invited to attend. Lunch will be provided and an RSVP by is requested by Tuesday, February 27th.
Parker Hannifin is continually looking for development opportunities to provide to team members and two of the most requested areas are leadership and communication. The purpose of the meeting will be to see a “mock” Toastmasters meeting followed by a brief Q&A. This will aid attendees in seeing if Toastmasters might be a good fit for the Parker team or for members of the community.
Parker also wants to gauge if there would be any other local businesses interested in participating. Should Parker choose to go forward with starting a club after the information meeting, they want to extend an invitation to the other local businesses to join in if they also see a value for their own teams.
