A Dexter restaurant worker may have spread hepatitis A

According to a release from the Missouri Department of Health someone who handled food at the Huddle House restaurant in Dexter was working while potentially contagious to Hepatitis A.

Patrons who ate there between November 21, 2017, and December 2, 2017, should watch for symptoms of Hepatitis A.

Symptoms develop between two to seven weeks after being infected and include:

  • Fever
  • fatigue
  • loss of appetite
  • nausea
  • vomiting
  • abdominal pain
  • dark urine
  • clay-colored stools
  • joint pain
  • jaundice
