Schools Are Back In Session Soon; Watch For Students!

Law enforcement officers across Missouri will be participating in an impaired driving campaign beginning on Friday, August 18, as well as increased vigilance during the start of school .
The drive sober or get pulled over campaign starts about the time most schools in the area have started.
The majority of schools in the Bootheel, kick off the new year on Thursday.
The Highway Patrol says it’s critical for drivers to be alert, especially near school zones, playgrounds and bicycle paths.
Expect additional traffic and prepare by allowing extra time to reach your destination.
The Missouri Department of Transportation says the Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over campaign will run from August 18th through September 3rd.
