Let me just start by saying that I had really high hopes for this movie. I love a good scary flick and to add the Christmas element had me giddy! I’m not going to say I was completely disappointed, but some of the effects had me shaking my head. For one, seeing a ginger bread man walking off being shot with buckshot was a little disheartening. I thought they did a great job with the costume of Krampus himself although the “helpers” were a little too 1980’s in style. Reminded me a lot of “Troll” or “Leprechaun”, but overall I’ll give it a 7/10 stars just for the simple fact that you never EVER see that ending! I’m not going to say I regret seeing it, but I won’t be adding this one to my holiday must watch list. (Guess I’ll keep rocking with the Griswold’s) I think this one is as much a comedy as it is a horror movie. Pretty good jokes, and the twist ending save it in the rankings. I doubt it’ll be your favorite, but if you’re looking for a Christmas scare, check it out. Have a great day and I’ll catch you on the next one!!!!
